Daltok (hereinafter the "Service") collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

• Member management: Identifying members, providing membership-based services, preventing misuse
• Service delivery: Providing community services, creating and managing content
• Service improvement: Usage statistics, service improvement and development

The Service collects the following personal information:

When signing in with Google

• Email address
• Name (as registered on the Google account)
• Profile photo (optional)

Collected automatically during use of the Service

• Access IP address
• Access date and time
• Service usage records
• Device information (browser type, OS, etc.)

3. Retention and Use Period

As a general rule, the Service destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled.

• Member identification information (email, etc.): Destroyed upon account deletion
• Posts and comments: Retained after account deletion for the operation of the Service, displayed together with the nickname used at the time of posting. To have them removed, you may sign in again and delete them yourself or request removal through customer support.
• Service usage records: 3 years (for service operations and dispute resolution)
• Access (login) records: 3 months (for security and prevention of misuse)
• Statutory retention obligations: Where applicable law requires retention for a specified period, the information is retained for that period and then destroyed.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

As a general rule, the Service does not provide users' personal information to third parties. The following are exceptions:

• Where the user has given prior consent
• Where required by law, or where an investigative agency makes a request for investigative purposes in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law

6. Storage Location and Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information

The servers and operations of the Service are located in the United States, and Members' personal information is stored and processed within the United States. Because the operator of the Service is registered as a business in the Republic of Korea, the processing set out below constitutes a cross-border transfer of personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. The Service ensures by contract that the recipients maintain a level of personal information protection equivalent to that required under that Act.

Timing and method of transfer: Information is transmitted over the internet at the time of membership registration and during use of the Service.

How to refuse cross-border transfer: Members may refuse the cross-border transfer of their personal information by sending a request to admin@daltok.com. However, because the transfers described above are essential to providing the Service, refusing them may limit or prevent membership registration and use of the Service.

7. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Request access to personal information
• Request correction or deletion of personal information
• Request suspension of processing of personal information
• Delete your account

These rights may be exercised through the settings menu within the Service or through customer support.

8. Destruction of Personal Information

When personal information becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled, the Service destroys it without delay.

• Electronic files: Permanently deleted using an unrecoverable method
• Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

• Encrypted storage and transmission of personal information
• Operation of security systems against hacking and similar threats
• Minimizing and training staff who handle personal information
• Conducting regular security reviews

• How to refuse cookies: You may refuse the storage of cookies in your browser settings. However, refusing cookies may limit the use of some features of the Service.

This Privacy Policy may be supplemented, removed, or revised in response to changes in law, policy, or security technology. Any changes will be announced through the Service's notice board.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Texas. The Service is provided to users residing in the United States, and the Service makes no representation that it complies with the laws of jurisdictions outside the United States for users accessing it from outside the United States.

This Privacy Policy takes effect on April 14, 2026.
